Traditional Thai massage

Traditional Thai healing practices determine that when the ‘sen’ is blocked, then energy builds up and the body loses its balance, leading to a number of diseases. Thai-massage works by external stimuli triggering specific internal effects in the body and restoring the free flow of energy, eventually leading to healing and harmony. This effect is achieved by treating the body, releasing the rigidity of the joints and by controlled and deep breathing. Thai massage is often associated and likened to yoga system, including meditation and relaxation of mind.

Thai massage is performed by one or a group of masseuses. The client lies on a soft mat on the floor. Depending on their needs they held various positions of yoga system during massage procedure. So run with deep static pressure and rhythmic massage movements. The aim is tissues to become soft and elastic and to relieve the pain.
